OUR STORY

We met in March 2024, in a way that’s becoming more and more common these days - on Hinge! After a few weeks of messaging, Grace casually asked Logan if he wanted to grab wings one night, and he immediately said yes. Even though Logan picked her up that night, she technically asked him out first so in her book, that one didn’t count as the real first date...
Soon after, we had our real first date, and from there things took off. Since we were both teaching at the time and off for that summer, we took full advantage and spent as much time together as possible - definitely speeding things up in the best way.
Our dates were a mix of game nights, cooking at home, playing pool, dancing, fishing, concerts, friends’ weddings, Aggie games, and way too many hours spent watching NFL and obsessing over our fantasy football teams. We spent a ton of time with each other’s families and friends, and their love and support made everything feel even more right.
Maybe it’s a little cliché, but from day one, it's been easy, natural, and just made sense. We have so much fun, feel like our best authentic selves with each other, and it never feels forced. Our faith, values, and priorities are in sync, and it seemed clear early on that this was it, so planning our future together has been surprisingly effortless...

So here we are - game plan ready to take on forever as husband and wife. Let's gooooo!
Logan knew pretty early on that he was going to ask Grace to be his wife. We had talked about the possibility of getting engaged in March 2025, but secretly, he had a much earlier plan in the works.
Wanting to make sure she had a ring she’d love forever, we'd looked together until he knew exactly what to get. With the perfect ring secretly purchased, Logan set his surprise into motion. He teamed up with Grace’s family to hire a photographer and orchestrate the perfect moment on a bridge in a park near our homes.
On December 8, Grace got picture-ready, believing she was headed to the park for family photos with her parents. She had a sneaky feeling something was up, but Logan had been way too convincing that a proposal wasn’t happening anytime soon. Meanwhile, her mom, dad, aunt, and cousin were strategically stationed around the bridge out of view, each holding poster board signs asking passersby to pause and let the moment unfold uninterrupted.
When Grace got to the park, Logan was waiting and led her to the bridge where - through more than a few happy tears - he got down on one knee and popped the question. (Okay, full disclosure - Logan was crying so much that Grace actually asked if he was sad. 😂 He assured her they were very happy tears.) Her “YES!” was all he needed to hear. The celebration kept going over dinner with our families, filled with excitement, even more happy tears, and plenty of toasts to what's ahead.
